This website was built during a paid contract position as a Website Developer. Working closely with the customer, I designed and built the site from scratch. The site was built using React, HTML5, SCSS and tested with Jest and Enzyme.
Ballroom Beats took 3rd place out of the whole school in Turing's Demo Night Competition. This was a combined backend and frontend group project. Ballroom Beats is a React-Native app that allows users to choose the steps to a dance they would like to learn along with the song of choice. This app allows you to select from three types of popular ballroom dances (Waltz, Salsa, and Bachata) and practice the step sequences on your phone, with your hands. The goal of this app is to help the brain remember the rhythms and sequences necessary to perform the dance.
This was a paired project where we planned, built and tested the backend and frontend. Palette Picker is a color generator to assist in coming up with the right color palette for whatever you're working on. Users can generate a color palette, save it for future projects, edit/update saved projects and color palettes, and delete projects and palettes.
This goal of this project was to push myself to learn a Svelte and create a project utilizing the Harvard Museum API. Welcome to Svelte Galleria! A user can navigate between six selected art classifications and see a small selection of the art that is at the Harvard Museum. To see more about an art piece, follow the url to the museum's website. Also, to see a larger image the user can click a button and a modal will pop-up with the artwork's image.
This was solo project that we had 5 days to complete. Harry Potter Game is a web based application that allows Wizards and Witches to view characters based on their houses. Additionally you will be able to select/deselect favorite characters and view your favorite collection. You can also view all spells. An additional iteration will be a matching game to match the spell name and the effect.
